Yes, the crafty Doullina gals are adding yet another creative venture to their resume….Monthly Crops!  We feel that there is a HUGE need for this type of creative outlet in the Capital District and we hope that the masses agree and will join us!  We are currently finalizing the details with our location, and will be posting information regarding the 1st date along with registration (available through our shop) very soon.  At our crops you can expect: great meals and snacks throughout the day, fun games with lots of awesome prizes, plenty of space to spread out and create, and a great atmosphere.  If you would like to be added to our Doullina Crop Email List, please drop us a line at info@doullina.com

A few CD Tin Accordion Albums

This is a super unique and very cool 5″x8″ altered cardboard box that houses a 5 paneled chipboard accordion album:

We have officially switched gears (as have most of the retail outlets..have you noticed?) and have been having the best time digging into all of our fun Christmas and Holiday supplies. We made several of these fun mini chipboard albums for Halloween and Thanksgiving, and naturally we would have to create some more for the December holidays.

We started with a simple wood plaque, added some fun Chatterbox paper, painted the edges, embellished with our favorite Prima flowers with button centers, and finished it all off with our name!  Instant favorite around our studio!

We’re working on a pile of fun custom orders this week, but we wanted to take a few moments to share some more Custom Christmas CD Tin Accordion Albums. They make such unique gifts, and we are so excited with some of the new papers and embellishments we’ve found. Enjoy!

Don’t mind us as we toot our own horns here. We are so excited to announce the addition of several of our handmade goodies to the shelves of some awesome new local (and not so local) shops.  Beginning tomorrow, you will be able to ogle some of our crafts at the Grand Opening of Blue Dog Art (333 Delaware Ave, Delmar, NY).  We are thrilled with this great new opportunity ,and we can’t wait to see what sorts of great things Tracie comes up with for new addition to the Delmar community.  Additionally, at the beginning of November, our good friend Linda will be opening up her new cafe, Peaberrys Catering (540 Delaware Ave, Albany, NY), where you will not only be delighted to sample some of the most amazing sweets and sandwiches, you can also pick up a Doullina item or two.  Linda will be carrying several of our clipboards, cards and tags.

Here’s yet another altered creation from the busy gals at Doullina Designs (yes, we do get completely sidetracked when we’re out shopping and will load up on anything that looks even remotely alterable…if that’s a word? :). We took a very ordinary and boring pocket organizer and added our Doullina flair and voila…you have a fancy shmancy cover and fun ribbon closured organizer!
